How to make a payment

To make a payment, navigate to Payments and click "New payment". The payment process has three steps.

First, enter the recipient details — name, sort code and account number (for domestic) or IBAN (for international). You can also select from your saved beneficiaries.

Second, enter the payment amount, reference, and choose the source account. The form validates that you have sufficient funds.

Third, review the payment details and confirm. You may be asked to complete a Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) challenge for security.
