Understanding payment statuses

Payments go through several statuses as they are processed.
Pending means the payment has been submitted but not yet processed by the payment network.
Processing means the payment is being handled by the clearing system. Most domestic payments complete within two hours.
Completed means the funds have been successfully transferred to the recipient.
Failed means the payment could not be processed. Common reasons include incorrect account details or insufficient funds. Check the payment detail page for specific error information.
